Ezequiel Lozano, a passionate entrepreneur and lover of photography, was a finalist for the Best Photographer award in the Puerto Vallarta Gays: Best of 2024 Awards. This recognition comes as Lozano blends his passion for photography with his unique business, Vallarta Experiences, to deliver immersive cultural, fun, off-the-beaten-path tours, hikes, photoshoots and adventures.
Lozano, who moved to Puerto Vallarta from Mexico City four years ago, describes his various business ventures as his “children.” His latest, Vallarta Experiences, promises clients intimate connections to the area’s rich cultural history, from scenic hikes to Playa Malpaso—shrouded in local folklore—to engaging interactions with the enchanting local community.
“Vallarta can be anything you want it to be,” he said. Emphasizing the spiritual connection he aims to foster, he offers experiences such as Drag Queen Fridays and the opportunity to be a “Katrina for a Day,” blending art and self-expression.
Through his lens, Lozano captures the raw emotions of his clients, whether nude or clothed, revealing the joy and authenticity of each person.
“I wanted to show Vallarta not just through my eyes, but through my love of the city,” Lozano explained, underscoring his commitment to celebrating the human experience.
With plans to expand his businesses into other locations like Guadalajara and Tequila, Lozano aims to take even deeper dives into Mexico’s cultural fabric.
His newest venture, the Xiekari Healing Center & Spa, promises a holistic approach to health encompassing mind, body, and spirit.
